Open moya1295 opened this issue 2 months ago • 3 comments

Searches with count param producing low quality results with high response time. However first param is working as intended.

@moya1295 Can we check if it's the case of Bing bot detection or count has been deprecated in this way?

https://www.bing.com/search?form=QBLH&q=Coffee&count=50

This returns low quality results as well for me in a normal browser.

Thanks @shubhamjain for the verification and it is same here. I think this param is deprecated from the bing side now.

After a deep investigation into this issue, we came to the conclusion that count param is deprecated from the bing and the use of this param now results in 100% soft-ban of low-quality search results / weird results eg:

In light of the above we decided to deprecate count param from our Bing Search API engine.
