[Google Fast Light API] It only returns 3 organic results (Solution to num=100)
We're currently having an issue with Google Fast Light API, where it only returns three results.
Notes for CS team, I've created a spreadsheet list to note anyone who's interested in num=100 parameter issue.
Hello, do you have any update on this please ? We launched 282 000 calls to Google Search Engine Results API yesterday and are very impacted by this issue. Thank you. Regards

Hi @fadupla we'll share any updates in this thread. Thank you very much for your patience.
My assumption was that you were eating the cost with this API and doing 10 queries to get 100 results for organic only and eliminate the computer power required to parse the rest of the rich results. However, it seems that you are using a separate endpoint that Google has since blocked. I would be careful about using this sort of approach as it ends up being a game of cat and mouse.
Any update on this?
Hi @dugganl1 , we don't have any updates yet. We'll share any news regarding this here as well.
Any updates yet? Is there a list I can join to be notified?
Hi @connor-reflexive, we don't have any updates yet. We'll share any news regarding this here as well.
Alternatively, you can also share your email with us via [email protected].
I've updated the title, since it's more on the num=100 issue rather than the new API itself.

@mazayo is interested once we have a solution for this. Reference: https://github.com/serpapi/google-search-results-python/issues/82#issuecomment-3509136703
any update on whether serpapi plans to address this behind the scenes, or if the expectation is users paginate (and incur 10x the cost)?
Hi @nwbhatia, thanks for your message. We're still investigating solutions for this issue, but have yet to come up with a concrete fix. Currently, the only way to get 100 results is to paginate with the start parameter.
We understand this solution is not optimal and incurs additional costs, and we're committed to making the transition as smooth as possible. Please reach out to us via chat at serpapi.com or at [email protected], and we'll try to find a solution that works for you.
My sincerest apologies for the trouble and inconvenience.
