webcam_cuda performance

webcam ran very slower, so I tested webcam_cuda. Here are some observations,

On a laptop with i7-3520M CPU @ 2.90GHz and GPU NVS 5400M, I observed maximum of 0.5fps. Can I find benchmarks somewhere? Need some reference to compare the results I'm observing. How much frame rate were you able to achieve and on what hardware platform?
