What warning screen? I tested on linux x86, 64-bit, odroid u3 and Android, it's working. I managed to complete Stage 1 on linux 64-bit
@nespas delete your pulstar.fs in your save directory, retro-wertz did that and it's working now.
I noticed that too, I can't save the widescreen setting in sfiii2
I think this was fixed a long time ago (@61cb4de ?). And #58 brought some updates in the input handling and descriptors
