Even `set -g status-right ""` does not work or` set -g status off`

AFAIU no it does not. Bazel fetches the depedencies based on rules on the WORKSPACE file and stores them in different directories than the native go tooling

found the root cause just turn right shell off and it should work `spacebar -m config right_shell off`

facing the same issue in Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS
