  • [ ] introduce profiles
    • [ ] auto (auto-detect based on read length)
    • [ ] illumina (batch-processing, SIMD, small band if possible)
    • [ ] sanger (xdrop, larger band)
    • [ ] pacbio (default to sanger for now, later bigger band)

This will stay in the backlog for now. No work on long-reads has been performed, yet.

We have performance profiles for now.
