Neither margins nor paddings work properly.

As the title says. I spent an hour trying to make them work but to no avail. Margins on all 4 sides and/or paddings should be included in the calculations, as now pretty much the only use case is a full screen imageview. It doesn't work with either a toolbar or navigation bar.
