Double tap twice to zoom out (to normal level)

Here is the current zoom behaviour with respect to a double tap

• Double tap once to zoom in
• Double tap again to zoom in further
• Double tap the third time to zoom out

Is it possible to add a method that allows us to, optionally, remove the second step to allow zoom in with one double tap and zoom out with the second double tap,

• Double tap once to zoom in
• Double tap again to zoom out

A lot of users are used to this behaviour on the default android gallery, apps like whatsapp etc and it would be really helpful to developers. Please let me know if this is already available.
