Rare/unreleased music isn't scrobbling at all

For example, I have Highs And Lows [v1, remake v4].mp3 (no ID3v2 tags) and Nasdaq [V3] (ref. Dem Jointz) (feat. Stalone) (correct ID3v2 tags), I would assume at least Nasdaq scrobble, but not even it does. https://www.last.fm/music/Kanye+West/_/NASDAQ is the correct page for NASDAQ.

Does both Title and Artist in the ID3v2 tags have to match a page on last.fm for it to scrobble? Sounds pretty bad.

i just had a look,

Highs And Lows will never scrobble, it has no tags at all. lastfm requires at the very minimum an artist name and a track name to scrobble

Nasdaq should scrobble fine

is there anything in your logs when your client hits the "scrobble" endpoint in the logs? they should start with error when submitting
