text-transform: uppercase hurts copy-and-pastability

Various output elements, including host names and check names on certain screens, have the CSS property text-transform: uppercase. But that makes it harder to copy and paste these pieces. I request to simply get rid of these properties. The visual appeal isn't so great that it's worth this annoyance.
