image-ify relative links

Would it be possible to image-ify relative links ("/render...") so there is a way to reference image resources on the same server in a cluster securely (so the image requests can reuse authentication from an nginx or apache proxy for uchiwa)?

We would probably simply need to modify the regex

A small documentation how to use uchiwa with graphite would also makes sense (adding the load graph to the load check for example). I think this is a common use case, but I haven't found any documentation.
