Create a sensu handler for iris (linkedin's open source pagerduty alternative)

Open majormoses opened this issue 8 years ago • 3 comments

We should keep our eye on if iris: https://github.com/linkedin/iris gains more popularity and if so we should probably minimally setup a repo based on the skel so if someone wanted to start using it they could start contributing to an official rather than needing to do a transfer later.

If someone wants to pick this up please ping me so I can create a new repo for it.

Did this ever get a followup? In other words, is it possible to use iris with sensu at the time of writing? If not, is there another open source alternative?

@MrMoronIV no one has written one for Iris from what I can find. This issue is an open invitation if you have the time 😄.

I've seen https://github.com/ustream/openduty around, but it will run into the same challenge of not having a plugin (unless you can test it's compatibility with the pagerduty version). I don't know of any additional OSS alternatives beyond that.
