Icon & Startup Screen resolution on iPhone 4 Retina Display

I've uploaded a 114x114 326ppi PNG to my apps root folder, and linked to it correctly. When I bookmark to homescreen it looks like the resolution comes down to iPhone 3G standards and gets pixelated.

If I use the same PNG on my actual website and bookmark that to the homescreen, the icon shows up at full resolution on the iPhone4. For some reason, it only res' down w/ jqTouch apps(noticed this also on the jqTouch Demo App's icon and startup screen.

Is there a patch somewhere for this? Kaneda, is this project still active?

Quasi active, meaning I've been pretty busy these past few months (just left Sencha), but would be happy to take in pull requests :) Was actually already planning on reviewing some stuff this weekend- Best-
