Capture/download test code directly by selecting the vertex from the node/link diagram

We have everything to provide intuitive Direct Manipulation to the user. Yet, the current GUI forces the user to type the exact vertex id, or it refuses to generate test code at all. An (inferior, non-exclusive) alternative could be giving a dropdown menu populated with valid vertex ids for the superstep instead of the empty text input.
