Occasionally crashes, repeating last key

I'm loving this project on my new 30-key kb but have a weird problem:

Once in a while instead of taking input, it repeats the last key so I'll be typing along and aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaav

Generally when I interrupt it with another key it eventually stops. One time, however, the entire device was unresponsive until I replugged it back in.
