Add "/lost+found" to default ignore locations

Open zithro opened this issue 3 years ago • 2 comments

Salut, I propose to ignore the "/lost+found" directory by default. I've added it in the middle to respect the alphabetical order you use.

Another (unrelated) suggestion, you could add sysclean | xargs rm -rfv to the examples, with some warning of course. If you want a pull request tell me.

PS: cimer Albert pour le soft, j'en avais du déchet ! ^^

/lost+found directory isn't expected to be present. so it is fine to have it reported by sysclean.

regarding piping sysclean to rm, it is dangerous (you could try: mkdir -p "/foo / bar" and run your command to see your disk gone). it is better to first review the proposed files before any removing.

additionnally, it is important to review reported files in /etc.

I don't agree with lost+found as it has no relation to packages or upgrades, but ok, it's your soft ^^ And I can add it to sysclean.ignore myself, but can you confirm the + does not need escaping ? I've read File::Glob and it seems it's not a meta char, but I'm not fluent in perl.

Regarding the pipe, I agree with your comment and no one should run it like that without prior verification, but even if trivial, it's info I'd have wanted to find. I admit though I went through a file before executing.
