Support user signups

It looks like Akismet supports user signups. Maybe a good idea to support, to prevent spam signups?

@sjelfull Really? I have been using the general API for protecting against spammy sign ups too but I did not know they had something specifically designed for that. I'll take a look at it, thanks for the heads up.
