too slow for downloading of teleseismic events

when l want to download the teleseismic events for the studying of receiver function,l find it took me one minute for each event if l use get_continuous_waveform .in this way it maybe need one year to download all data l want.

is there faster and more convenient method to download teleseismic events data for receiver function? thank you, best wish
