Save state of online viewer as a URL

Would it be possible in lieu of saving and loading projects to have an option to save a URL of the current state? This would include the source image location (if possible) and the various editor settings to allow more tweaking later. Maybe a simpler option would be to append to the default file name the dither method and slider settings.
