Add options for removing empty categories

For example, nested heatmap contains many empty cells (i.e., gray cells). For the scalability, it might be better to just remove such cells. In this way, we need to represent which columns or rows are removed in the visualization, for example, by using thicker edges (e.g., HCE heatmap).
