App resumes streaming automatically on bluetooth connection

I'm on lineageOS android 10. Although I disabled on settings the option "resume playing after connection", radio goes on automatically every time I jump into the car. Installed the latest version from F-Droid.

Thanks for making this App and also for willing to look at this issue.

Would be also very nice to add a feature where, pausing caches the stream until clicking play again instead of interrupting it.

"resume playing after connection" which option is it? There is a checkbox "Resume on Bluetooth connection" in "Player" options group.

Unfortunately this would be a bit out of scope for us.

Happens for me in one of two tries, too, although "Auto-play" and "Resume on Bluetooth connection" are both disabled. Running version 0.84 on Lineage OS 18.1 (Android 11) on a Fairphone FP2. Thank you for this great app! :)

Workaround: enable background restriction for RadioDroid in Android battery system settings, but then other functions will not work as expected, too. Edit: Not even restricting helps... :(
