Apple shutting down the service

Hello! It´s tempting to use the Open Haystack to track valuables and things in a little bit wider scale. How likely is it Apple will try to stop the Open haystack service and other services like that? Also how can they stop it from a technical point of view?

I think this is a important issue to discuss.

Apple seems to be tolerant or not interested in us hobbyist doing test and small projects. I would say don't try to make a business out of it, don't try to track people and don't run the api to the public. keep it for your personal use and it should be fine. the moment we start causing issues for them we will figure out your question. To answer your Question directly is difficult to answer they own the infrastructure an update to any part can break OHS it could last years or it could stop tomorrow. Use it without abusing and it should last hopefully. Just my opinion.
