Query Samples across different Sample Types

As discussed in the Staff Exchange (May 6th 2021) For Samples linked by using a SEEK Sample Attribute, it would be nice to be able to filter Samples based on Attributes from parent and/or child Samples.

Example:

As a User I would like to search for Samples in Sample Type 5 that are from Species Solanum tuberosum (Sample Type 1)

We have a similar issue related to search in general but also when searching for specific samples or sample attributes that are used in different sample types. Would it be possible to have a Sample search functionality like you have for Persons with a filter box on the left? In addition it would be nice if you can filter using sample attributes that could have been used in different sample types.
