I got to $3m and level 21 and I don't know what to do next

Maybe this is not an 'issue' but...

I've got to the point where a single observation testing training costs $1.9m. This means that I can no longer keep hiring new staff and automating the production machine because I have to give myself RSI to keep the growth curve going. I also have devs with levels: 10, 10, 8, 7, 3, and 3 and training once now costs $1m, which means further training of a level 3 dev is about 3-5 minutes of clicking.

Maybe at the high end, the skills could have less extreme inflation? Or some kind of system where the cost of skills is somewhat proportional to the average skill level of your team?

Anyway that was after an hour (?) of play so thanks for the game! :)

This is amazing, I'm trying to climb out of negative debt because I didn't read the instructions and had the founder do everything.

Re the Level 21 problem. How about this. For about $1 million, you can buy a 'manager' -- and they will effectively take over your duties, assigning people to work and steadily buying new project leads.

At that point you can buy a second devshop, and switch between the devshops you own quite easily.

It continues from there. The initial devshop would have some kind of color trim, such as a blue bar at the top of the kanban board. The second devshop would have a different color trim, and so on, for infinite devshops.

It's a way to "start again" without really "starting again".

Number of staff in a given shop would probably be limited too.

Start over and try again to be more efficient? Once I learned the game I went back and optimized the flow to a minimal amount of people 3 Devs, 2 Testers, 1 BA, got Level 19 with $3.1 mil

Some thoughts: Add ops Cross-train staff Staff attrition (voluntary/involuntary) Skill to automatically find new projects Market shocks such that projects are not available or have negative returns Payroll/expenses
