EOL for COPS - Wiki update
I've updated the Wiki to include an EOL notice for the original COPS software has the author no longer maintained the seblucas-cops project. Also included a link to the Mike's fork (so people can find where to collaborate now). https://github.com/mikespub-org/seblucas-cops

I didn't see the forum post, but I see this :D someone was just giving me some sass for deprecating our image and then i stumbled on this. Not committing to anything, but I'll pay attention to things

I've had several people ask about updating the linuxserver docker image, and I've prepared a draft docker/Dockerfile.linuxserver you could use as a starting point....

Since COPS is pretty much what I consider a headless Calibre server, I don't think I understand your question.
I built a Home Assistant add-on that runs COPS in a container - you just need to point it at a Calibre library folder (which can be local or a network share). Is that cost t to what you are thinking of?

i've unarchived but not changed the master branch at all. I have a new branch called mikespub right now which is pending review from the rest of my team to merge my PR (all the changes). I'll update this once I have more info
@mikespub https://github.com/linuxserver/docker-cops None of us on the team have tested this in practice, but it passed smoketests (barring the missing db :D ) If you come across any issues with the container (or your users do) please direct them my way and we'll get it resolved. Please also feel free to join our discord. We'll make you a community dev and you can have a direct line to us. This is helpful if you make fundamental changes so we can prep the container in advance and bypass the potential support fallout of big changes. Not mandatory though, but if you already use discord, a why not kind of thing :)
