Copying text from edts shell makes it read only

When copying text from edts shell it will be read only if pasted to another buffer. Annoying since it's a common operation to copy text from the shell.

I've tried to reproduce this in both Emacs 23 and 24 but I'm unable to. Are you certain it's not related to the funny read-only-mode hooks you have (or used to have, at least) in place?
