icons not displayed when candidate list very close to left margin of frame

Best explained with three figures:

A. Icons are not displayed

B. Icons displayed

C. Icons displayed : note the box has room on the left, within the same Emacs frame even if the means having the box over the left Emacs window

So the problem seems related to the box not extending beyond the frame limits and/or not moving right to have room on its left. I've tried playing with company-box-frame-parameters to no avail.
