Brunch freeze on the brunch logo

[TOWANOSORA]

I installed ChromeOS on a Hidisc USB 3.2 Gen 1 with a capacity of 32GB and booted it on my PC. However, even after waiting for 10 hours, it was stuck on the Brunch logo and the screen never change. I tried to turn off the PC, but it did not respond to any key press, so I had to forcibly shut it down by unplugging it. What could be causing this issue?

PC Configuration and Other

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 6600H with Radeon Graphics

• GPU: N/A

• System: GMKtec NucBox M6

• RAM: 16GB

• USB: Hidisc 3.2Gen1 32GB

• ChromeOS: Skyrim frostflow 130 from cros.tech

• Bruch: r130 stable 20241122

Setup

• Environment: WSL2 Ubuntu
• Installer: Rufus
• Commands: $ sudo bash chromeos-install.sh -s 16 -l -src chromeos_16033.58.0_skyrim_recovery_stable-channel_mp-v8.bin -dst chromeos_skyrim.img

Note

• zork ezkinil does not boot on NucBox M6.
• Skyrim frostflow supports the Ryzen 7000 Series but not the 6000 series.
• Kernel issues occur if the -s 16 or -l option is not specified in the command.

You may be installing the wrong image I did have this issue for the last 4 days You should find an old image that correspond your system as I did find mine at https://github.com/sebanc/brunch/issues/2001#issue-2092460378
