Cannot access linux service from native os chrome browser

For years, I've developed software, using linux, test servers etc. and accessing from the native chrome os browser.

I've been using Fyde for a long time, but decided to try brunch again.

Seem's I cannot access any linux services via localhost: as I used to be able to.

Is this a new chrome security thing?

I can access it from a browser installed inside the linux container... but I don't want to.

Any help greatly appreciated
