Flashing or blinking happens while scrolling vertically
This is a behavior that is noticed when many images are within the infinite container, as you scroll up or down and its rerendering, a quick flash is noticed as things are rendered.
What browser is this on? This issue has been noted in mobile browsers, where it seems to be caused by mobile browsers delaying rendering to improve efficiency. We also recently merged a change that might slightly reduce the time required to compute new views, although I'm not sure if it will help much in this case.
Chrome OSX latest. I had to write a rudimentary one from scratch because of the tight timeline that is very small in code < 185 lines counting comments etc but has a rendering approach that might help -> https://gist.github.com/sebringj/a38364ae9ab4fbd9e871eef87db624a2 as this has no flashing affect.
