How to decide when to keep paper vs. eg scanning it?
guidelines:
- legal issue? eg contract, stamped document
- Ease of use/preference? Maybe I prefer lending through a magazine vs scrolling
- Local vs cloud? Where might I need access?
- Speed of accessibility - sometimes the pervasive search of digital makes all the difference, but sometimes, like in a negotiation, there is value in looking at/working with the same piece of paper
