Options to over write unit of measure?

I am in Canada and we use m^3 for water. The numbers are correct, just the unit that's wrong.

I made a new branch for testing with the required changes to make units configurable. Are you able to build that branch and test yourself?

Thanks for the excellent work on this. I'm wondering if this environment variable configuration will be merged into the main branch any time soon? I need to convert my water meter measurement to ft^3 and can't do so with the latest version of metermon?
