Unable to Load Bert 2.2.1 and higher

I have previously been using Bert 1.64, and it works successfully. I tried to update to the newest version. I first uninstalled the previous version using the Windows Uninstall program. I then tried to install 2.2.1, and when I open Excel the Bert Ribbon is not displayed. If I go to the COM Add-Ins, I see BERT 2 Ribbon Menu as an Available Add in, and the information at the bottom of the dialog box states: Location: Load Behavior: Not loaded. A runtime error occurred during the loading of the COM Add-In.

The same situation when I tried to install 2.3.8

I have a PC Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1 64-bit OS For Excel, it is Microsoft Excel 2016 64-bit

I was able to install by removing the BERT folder from My Documents, and installing again.

I am having this issue again as well. I upgraded to the latest version of BERT, and then found some of the packages I were using conflicted with the latest version of R, so tried to uninstall the latest, and then go back to 2.3.9, and found after running the install the com add in would not load. I was able to reinstall version 1.64.

I am still unable to install version 2. I tried: uninstalling all versions using the windows installer rebooting removing BERT add-ins from Excel removing BERT folders from Documents removing BERT from Users\App Data removing BERT from registry rebooting installing version 2

I still have the issue where Version 2 will not load.

I face the same issue with 2.4.4. Not able to resolve yet.
