Start menu popping up when using WIN button as shortcut

I am using the windows button as a modifier (WIN+1 shows desktop 1, WIN+2 shows desktop 2, etc). Some times when I switch to a desktop (not a specific one, happens to any), the start menu pops up, just like I've only pressed the WIN button with no combination. In my opinion, this shouldn't happen...

Hey, sorry for the delay: I have been following another project and left this one a little bit behind.

I did not experience this specific bug, but had many similar problems when using the Win key as a modifier, especially when a compinations of keys overlaps with a default Windows key combo (e.g. Win + Arrow keys already is "switch desktop", Win + number is "minimize/maximize the nth program in the taskbar).

I will try and look into this, but in the meantime I suggest switching to a different key combo (I personally use Ctrl + Alt: it does not seem to cause any problem).
