I extracted the files to my computer and this was flagged as strong evidence that the application was untrustworthy based on reputation.

Hi @GreenGlassDragon

If you are just reporting this then thank you: I had a similar problem with Windows 10 opneing a pop up on the first execution warning me that the app was unsigned or something like that, I cannot remember it perfectly.
I guess it has to do with the fact that it interacts at a pretty dangerous level with the OS (intercepting and sending keystrokes, running programs, adding keybindings are all actions that a malicious executable could use to do some real damage) and the fact that the app is not signed with any trusted certificate.

If, instead, you are inquiring about the safety of the application then I can assure you it's 100% safe because:

  1. I did compile the release myself from the code which is publicly available in the repository (which as you can see contains no malicious code).
  2. If you don't trust me (and you probably shouldn't) you can download the source code, install AutoHotkey and compile it by yourself.

Thank you again.
