Feature Request - Multimonitor Wallpaper Support

Open merket opened this issue 7 years ago • 4 comments

Hello,

I just download and fiddling with your wonderful application. I have yet to find a way to set individual wallpapers per desktop for each monitor...

Is it possible? If not I believe this feature would carry your code and app further.

Best wishes.

Hi, thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you're enjoying it.

It is not possible at the moment, no. I will try to look into it.

Hi,

I have looked into this and I am sorry to say that without any external program there seems no easy way to make this work.

The most feasible way to go right now is for you to build custom multi-monitor wallpapers (as explained here) and use them. This would let you use a set of wallpapers (one for each monitor) for each virtual desktop.

the bad thing with "custom multi-monitor wallpapers" is that when you unplug your second monitor, you get 2 half wallpapers with the line in the middle of you screen
