[FEATURE] Metadata field for internal operating level
It would be great to have a meta data field for the dBu level the reamp device is calibrated for. Currently, because everyone is using a wide variety of different brands and models of converters, reamp boxes and interfaces, we are all making NAM models that are expecting a wide variety of different input levels. For each individual person, the gain of the model can be absolutely perfect when using their DI, but another user using different gear has to guess what the correct input level is for the desired result. Its quite easy to determine the relative level of the reamp box, and when this value is known, it would be a very useful value to embed in the NAM files metadata.
There could be a preference in the plugin where the user can select their own input headroom level, and the plugin could then automatically adjust the input control so it matches the users input chain to the embedded metadata value of the captured model.
A metadata field for internal operating level. Users can use this information to manually adjust. Once this is supported in models, then the NAM plugin could use this information to automatically adjust based on the users input levels.
The current alternative is just to guess what the intended gain level of a model is. Its fine, but this can vary by 20-30dB in either direction based on how the amps are captured.
