Need better instructions about how to use FFHQ in stage 1

I followed the instructions of training and got stuck on the first step of the first stage:

Download training dataset: FFHQ

Should I first create a directory named "datasets/ffhq/ffhq_512", then download the whole FFHQ dataset (which is HUGE), and finally place the dataset into the directory?

Sorry if the question is dumb. I am new to deploying large ML projects.

So am I. I want to train my custom dataset, but I didn't know how to organize my images dataset to correspond to this VQGAN model.
