Inpainting has no effect on self-made masked face image

I draw the mask on my own dataset and get outputs as shown in the following figure. It seems to have no effect, while the examples provided by the author works fine. Is there anything to pay attention to when creating a dataset?

I had this problem and try many time. it looks like border of mask should not be smooth and should be jagged. i use dissolve mode in photoshop brush to create jagged edges and it works.
