Advanced Requests - Grant/Deny for Tags, Path, Quality Profile

Open Eisa01 opened this issue 2 years ago • 6 comments

Description

Currently in Settings > User Settings. we have the ability to drill down into Manage Requests > Advanced Requests Which gives the user the permission towards modifying Tags/Path/Quality Profile.

However, these are very advanced, and I would like to allow only tags or quality profile to be adjustable for certain users. This is especially useful for the tags permission as there are many users that have preferences for specific groups, subtitles, and dubs.

Desired Behavior

Under user settings, the following options are desired.

  • [ ] Manage Requests
    • [ ] Advanced Requests
      • [ ] Tags
      • [ ] Path
      • [ ] Quality Profile

In this way we can add certain Advanced Requests, e.g.: "Ticking only Tags" without selecting anything else, so users are given exactly what they are needed without having to risk giving additional user permissions.

Additional Context

Really appreciate the efforts put into Overseerr. It is the best at what it does, just my 2 cents for saying thank you =)

Currently overseerr provides an option that allows auto-tagging requested media in sonarr/radarr; as a result of the tag permission not being toggle-able if advanced is on:

  1. User A can tag a request with the tag for user B
  2. User A can see the usernames of other users on overseerr

This feature would alleviate both of these problems.
