Collector number search appears to be broken, and does not appear to follow any discernible collector number pattern

Collector number search appears to not work at all. Cards do not show up in collector number order. Sometimes they do not appear to show up in any understandable order, with cards just appearing in seemingly random locations. This hampers our ability to actually explore the contents of a set or find cards we're looking for (because we expect them to be, you know, in the order we put things in).

Example searches:

• Dominaria United, sorted by CN as checklist
• Dominaria United Commander, sorted by CN as checklist

(I invite you to recreate these searches yourself by putting them into advanced search to verify this output.)

In both cases, I would expect card prints to show up in their collector number order. However, this isn't what happens.

In Dominaria United's case, any card with a variant does not show up on the first page. It appears to show up much later, on page 2 or 3, grouped with all its variants, apparently in collector number order based on the last variant available (or that's my best guess, but does not bear out as we'll see later). This has the effect of the cards with collector numbers 1–3 not showing up until the last page of search results:

In Dominaria United Commander's case however, the search result ordering just appears insane. Cards 105 and 107 show up first in search order.

Later on page 2, we see card 165 appear in order between cards 200 and 201, and card 195 appear in between cards 233 and 234.
