Docit - Discord private document chatbot
Discord doc bot for Secret Network
Project Description
We are applying for the Secret Network Grant Program: Ecosystem.
Our mission is to introduce a documentation-driven Discord bot for Secret Network. By harnessing advanced Language Models, we aim to make documentation more interactive, providing users with the ability to "communicate" with the documentation, querying Secret Network's repositories, documentation, and related articles instantly.
We have been actively participating in the blockchain space, and our passion lies in enhancing user experience and engagement within networks like Secret. The progression of the Secret Network has captivated us, and we're eager to contribute.
Problem / Solution
The challenge is the vast amount of documentation and the dispersion of information across various platforms and repositories. This can overwhelm and frustrate users, especially newcomers. Our solution, the Discord bot, serves as a one-stop interactive platform to address queries instantly, reducing the time taken to search manually across different platforms.
Detailed product description
The bot operates through several modules, including:
- Query Processor: Understands and processes user queries.
- Data Fetcher: Pulls relevant data from Secret Network's repositories and documentation.
- Response Generator: Uses Language Models to generate user-friendly responses.
- Feedback Loop: Allows users to provide feedback on bot responses for continuous improvement.
Go-to-Market plan
Given that our product specifically caters to the Secret Network community, our primary promotion strategy revolves around community engagement. Through webinars, community forums, and active participation in chat channels, we hope to gain rapid adoption.
Value capture for Secret Network ecosystem
Introducing this bot would:
- Increase user engagement.
- Enhance the efficiency of accessing information.
- Boost community participation, as they have a tool to instantly solve their queries.

Development Roadmap
The project is expected to span over 1 month. We plan to employ 1 full-time developer, with a total budget of $8,000.
Milestones:
- Initial Setup and Data Integration (weeks 0 - 1): Set up the basic bot framework and integrate with Secret Network's repositories.
- Implementation of Language Models and Response Generation (weeks 2): Ensure that the bot can provide accurate, user-friendly responses.
- Testing, Feedback Loop, and Final Deployment (weeks 2): Test the bot extensively, gather community feedback, and make necessary refinements.
We propose a staggered payment plan: an initial payment at the project's commencement, followed by a payment post the second milestone, and the final payment upon project completion. We are also open to accepting up to 40% of the payment in SCRTs.
Additional Information
Our prototype bot, designed for multiple document sources, will serve as a foundation for this project.
