I want to take a moment to express my early adoption and support for the scroll ecosystem. I've been actively involved and have offered assistance in various capacities.

Today, I'd like to address what I perceive as hidden gas fees. It appears that many users, myself included, are encountering situations where the expected transaction fee of 3-5 cents balloons to $2 or more, despite when the gwei is low.

This discrepancy is concerning, and I believe it's important for the Scroll team to investigate and rectify these issues. It's likely that others in the community have also raised similar concerns in the past.
