Quotes in Scripts

I've noticed that some lines in script with quotes seem to awry from time to time.

For example: var h="<a href=\"" + l+ "\">"+t+"</a>"; becomes var h="<a href="""" +="" l+="" ""="">"+t+"";

I found I can cause this to happen by toggling the "Show or Hide HTML code in text" icon. But I think it has happened at other times.

Not sure if this is expected or not?
