Instant Outlines are now documented
I've been writing docs for months so that they will be ready for the hoards of new users I imagine will descend on Drummer when they find out how adorable it is. ;-)
Hyperbole aside...
One of those bits of docs is ready for you to use and review.

Instant outlines are outlines, written by someone else, that update in real time in Drummer.
I/Os are useful, even inspiring
I/Os are the foundation for some very useful groupware for teams of people coordinating their work. When it works, it really works. A lot of that depends on the team and how well organized they are, and how well organized they aspire to be. We shipped Radio UserLand in 2001-2002 using an I/O setup like the one in Drummer. The product's success was absolutely a function of how well-organized the team was.
We now have change notes!
There is also a Change Notes outline available, that I will try to keep current as we go forward. There's a command to open it in the Docs menu. It is, of course, an instant outline. :-)
I have done been reviewing of the I/O functionality and believe there might still be a bug lurking in there, so keep an eye open for problems. And please use the Download My Files command in the Tools menu to periodically download all your work in a zip archive. Better safe than sorry.
