How Drummer and DocServer connect
A brief demo.

Content systems, which basically is what we're developing, are better if the author's changes are visible immediately, without having to reload the page. This is the holy grail. Edit This Page got it down to three steps to update, with this ability it's now zero steps! It's 2021, so of course it's no surprise that ETP is no longer the state of the art (it was the innovation of 1999).
Under the hood, DocServer is a general outline rendering app. It's probably not a big surprise that it's all OPML.
It also supports includes, so the outlines stay manageable from an editing standpoint, even if they get pretty large. Drummer's verb set was a good test for that, there are a lot of verbs in there. ;-)
This is the URL I used in the demo.
http://docserver.scripting.com/?url=http://drummer.scripting.com/davewiner/exampleDocServerOutline.opml
If you click it you should get the recipes.
If you want to try out editing it, subscrbe to the outline, copy it, paste it into a new outline, make it public, and use its public url in place of mine in the link above.
Anyway -- your comments and feedback are welcome. If you want to try to do this yourself, I can show you how.
Dave
I tried this demo's method successfully with longer paragraphs and a link or two. It's very intriguing as a tool for publishing documents in a repeating format.
