Best Practice for Archiving Drummer?
I have been looking around the Docs and using Daytona Search but not having luck on How To archive drummer blog posts?
Background- My naive first approach was to copy/save my blog outlines into a separate OPML files for each month that are saved to disk, then deleting the outlines in Drummer. I was surprised to see all posts still rendered in my blog. My mental model of how Drummer and Old School work together needs an update!
What is Best Practice to archive Drummer blog posts?

Ken that's a good question, and that's the right way to archive your blog posts imho, it's how I do it on Scripting News, and I use Drummer and Old School to manage my blog.
The reason the old posts remain there is:

That's the behavior you probably want -- why should the reader get a blank blog at the beginning of a month?

Old School maintains a cache of previous days, so if a day isn't present in the outline, it just uses what it has in its cache.

Hi Dave, terribly sorry to bug you with this minor issue. I read your August 30 post, and added flOldSchoolUseCache = false to my OPML header in E/D. Then I confirmed the change in Drummer (attached photo). But when I render my blog the deleted files still show up. (Everything prior to January 1, 2022). Do you have any advice on how to remove the 2021 posting from the cache? Regards, Ken

@ken-hall -- I don't know what's going wrong, but it's going to take some time for me to get to look into it, and quite a bit of work on my end. By then I guess that the posts in question will age-out.
I'll let you know if I figure something out...

My theory is that we did not test this with Electric Drummer when it was being developed.
I have my own Old School setup which I configure in a different way. I'm guessing that the attribute in question isn't being transmitted when you come in via E/D.
