Closing 1999

Open JPhilpin opened this issue 9 years ago • 0 comments

If you close the 1999.io app window you use for editing - then you have to force quit the app to exit.
Steps to reproduce
  1. Open 1999.io App
  2. If you just select 'File - Quit' - the App will close safely
  3. But if you elect to choose Close Window - either with red button at top left of window or menu - 'Window - Close' - you will get a java script error - see attachment 'ONE'
  4. Click OK - it goes away - and the window closes
  5. But the app is still open

6.If you now try to close the app - say using 'app1999 - Quit' or 'Apple Key Q - you get a different java script error - see attachment 'TWO'

  1. The ONLY way to exit the app now is to 'Force Quit'
What you expected to happen

Safe exit from App with no pop ups and ability to close app without Force Quit

Other data

I am using ...

OSX 10.11.4

Mac App - version 0.88w

To double test - I just updated to v0.94i and same issues are still there. (BTW - the 'about screen' reads v0.40d

The only other apps open are 1999.io app and my browser (safari - version 9.1)

I just now closed and rebooted Mac - only opening 1999.io - and got exactly the same behavior.
