Dragging files into folders not working in Safari
Hi. While using Scrimba, which is a fantastic site, I can`t find out how I can make a folder and then put images inside that folder. I have been trying many things, but none of them seem to work. It will not put an image inside the folder that I created for it. And when I try to use the image in either HTML or CSS it wont find it.
Hey! You can upload images to a project by simply drag-and-drop them into a folder. Read more here: https://medium.com/scrimba/scrimba-release-notes-november-675a65f118de
I'm using a Mac. In Safari 13.0 I can create folders in a project. But it isn't possible to move or drag-and-drop files into that folder. In Firefox 69.0.1 it works. Are you using Safari LearningScrimba?
Reproduced this in Safari. Below is a gif showing it first in Chrome and then Safari
Instead of a gif I get the message "Content length exceeded"
@18bits there is a limit on the GIF previews on GitHub, but you can view it here https://gitspeak.com/-/nUp36dL6d445b/image-upload-safari.gif
Since I was using GitSpeakhttps://gitspeak.com, I did not see that.
Thanks.
Yes, moving-into-map problem solved! :-)
I am assuming you are referring to the gif :) The upload issue on Safari is still not resolved.
True, comment edited.
Thanks for making Scrimba, it's a cool platform.
Unfortunately, I believe I'm dealing with a similar issue on windows 10, google chrome browser. I found this issue doing this space exploration exercise. https://scrimba.com/learn/frontend/replace-the-jpg-with-a-webp-co0b149abb44289ca114ccdec I can't drag .gif or .webp files into the folder or root folder. It doesn't work with other exercises.
Im still dealing with this issue on Safari on Mac
