Month name variations in Arabic

Some Arabic locales use names such as "كانون الثاني", "تشرین الأول", etc. This appears to be supported well in the library, but in some cases, the same is also written as "كانون 2", "تشرین 1", etc. Can these alternate names be supported as well?
